Dorcas Bartels Edusei is a Project Administrative Assistant at the German West African Centre for Global Health and Pandemic Prevention (G-WAC) hosted at the College of Health Sciences, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana. In this role, she supports the coordination of project activities, administrative operations, and stakeholder communication to ensure the effective implementation of the Centre’s programmes.

Prior to joining G-WAC, Dorcas worked as a Customer Service Officer at First Atlantic Bank, where she gained experience in client relations and financial service delivery. She also served as an Enumerator for the International Cocoa Initiative, contributing to the Child Labour Prevalence Follow-Up Survey. During her National Service, she worked as an Assistant to the Librarian at the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER), University of Ghana, where she supported academic and research administration. She began her professional career as a Tutor at Great Shepherd International School, owned by her parents.

Dorcas possesses strong communication, organizational, and computer skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure and with minimal supervision. She is committed to supporting research, academic collaboration, and institutional development through efficient administrative coordination.
