Graduation
03/28/2026

All G-WAC-funded Cohort 1 PhD candidates successfully graduated on Saturday, March 28, 2026, during the 59th Congregation of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana. This remarkable achievement was made possible through generous funding from the German Federal Foreign Office (AA) through the DAAD German Academic Exchange Service.

This milestone would not have been possible without the invaluable support of our partner institutions, Technische Universität Berlin, The University of Bonn, and Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin—your contributions have been truly instrumental.

The journey was not easy, but you navigated every challenge with resilience and grace. Today, we celebrate not just your success, but your perseverance and excellence.

Congratulations to the newest PhD Graduates in town, Fortress Aku, George Agyei, Jonathan Gmanyami, Issahaku Gyesi Razak, Dr. Elliot Koranteng Tannor.
